Braxton - 6 months old
6 months old and just so much fun! Brax loves to play, play, play! He loves going in his jolly jumper and his walker. He started out walking backwards in it and now he can go both ways. He has also started sleeping completely through the night...from 9pm - 8 am...yes 11 hours! He has picked up a great habit from his sister as she has always been a good sleeper.
Jaime turns the big 3 - 0 !!!
Yes, I finally did it....I turned 30! Although, we were not supposed to go out for my birthday as that was the whole reason for the Vegas trip.....we had tons of fun this night!
I have a great group of friends.
Banquet
On April 3 we had The Royal's Fan choice Awards Banquet....It was neat! Jason was nominated for two awards and came home with one....the ironman award.
We had an awesome time...it was great to get dressed up and have a night out together!
I personally enjoyed the "50 year old rookie" jokes that were told.
Easter April 2007
Easter came and brought tons of great stuff for the kids.....Bella had fun on her Easter egg hunt but was a little upset with me when I had to take all of the chocolate away....she was popping chocolate easter eggs in her mouth without removing the tinfoil wrapping
Family Visitor
Philadelphia
We made our way to Philadelphia for a day trip. It is a must-see!
We made it to a few attractions as the line-ups are quite lengthy.....but our most important stop was at cheesesteak corner to have the famous "Philly" Cheesesteak....how can you come to philadelphia and not have a cheesesteak?
Its most fateful ringing was when it summoned citizens to hear the first public reading of
the Declaration of Independence.
Independence Hall...the Pennsylvania State House, was restored in 1830 and again in 1950. Today, it more closely resembles its original 1776 appearance,
when the Declaration of Independence was adopted.
New York City Baby!!!!
We made it to NYC and it is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! I can't wait to go back but next time it will be during the summer months. When it rains in New York City, it pours and Blair and I had a few hours of downpour. Of course this did not stop either of us as this city is just too exciting and nothing slows it down. It took a little while to get the hang of "flagging down a cab" but by the end of the day I was a pro!
Times Square
Madison Square Garden
" The world's most famous arena"
Central Park
Another one of my favorites....although still a little brown
Ground Zero
At ground zero there is nothing to see....it is fenced off and basically they are rebuilding what will be there in the future. In my opinion, the fencing off felt appropriate...while as a tourist I felt a little guilty peaking through the fence anyway. There is still a crane that holds the american flag in the middle of the construction.
Brooklyn Bridge
Yankee Stadium
My cousin Blair was in heaven the whole time we were here as he is a BIG yankee's fan! I moved up to the top of the cousin list after we made the trip here.
Sorry Rod, you'll have to top this!
