Flight Home

I flew home with the kids on April 19th. My mom met us in Toronto..... becaudse of the lengthy flight from Toronto to Saskatoon I knew I would be in need of some help! They were excellent kids and enjoy flying, when the plane started to take off Bella was yelling "Weeee"!

Braxton - 6 months old

6 months old and just so much fun! Brax loves to play, play, play! He loves going in his jolly jumper and his walker. He started out walking backwards in it and now he can go both ways. He has also started sleeping completely through the night...from 9pm - 8 am...yes 11 hours! He has picked up a great habit from his sister as she has always been a good sleeper.

Brax loves to jolly jump

Someone is helping mom with the laundry!

Brax playing on his activity mat, he loves to bat around the rattles

Brax like his puppy that Papa and Mami gave him.....so does his sister as she sleeps with the puppy at bedtime!

Bella taking Brax for a stroll in her babie's stroller through the house....it is quite amusing!

Bella climbs up onto Brax's crib to sing him a bedtime song

Brax and Mommy

Brax loves his mom's cuddles

Is someone teething?

Brax loves to be outside just like his sister!

Jaime turns the big 3 - 0 !!!

Yes, I finally did it....I turned 30! Although, we were not supposed to go out for my birthday as that was the whole reason for the Vegas trip.....we had tons of fun this night!

I have a great group of friends.

This was the first of many shooters that night!

Myself, Christi, Steph

Kelly, Tammy, Tara

Kelly and me
Steph, myself and Jason

Banquet

On April 3 we had The Royal's Fan choice Awards Banquet....It was neat! Jason was nominated for two awards and came home with one....the ironman award.
We had an awesome time...it was great to get dressed up and have a night out together!
I personally enjoyed the "50 year old rookie" jokes that were told.

Easter April 2007

Easter came and brought tons of great stuff for the kids.....Bella had fun on her Easter egg hunt but was a little upset with me when I had to take all of the chocolate away....she was popping chocolate easter eggs in her mouth without removing the tinfoil wrapping

Even though Brax would love to dive into all of the chocolate,
he received a walker for Easter

Bella got chocolate, chocolate, chocolate....a few bunnys and of course her favorite accessories.....a new hat and matching handbag!

Family Visitor

My cousin Blair was in Detroit and decided to lengthen his trip by coming to visit with us in Reading. I'm quite sure he expected to see a few more hockey games but he did get in some sight-seeing and a few ball games as well.
As you can see from the pictures, my kids both adored Blair! He adored them back with the exception of Bella jumping all over him at 9 am!!

Philadelphia

We made our way to Philadelphia for a day trip. It is a must-see!
We made it to a few attractions as the line-ups are quite lengthy.....but our most important stop was at cheesesteak corner to have the famous "Philly" Cheesesteak....how can you come to philadelphia and not have a cheesesteak?
The Liberty Bell....."The world's symbol of Freedom"
Its most fateful ringing was when it summoned citizens to hear the first public reading of
the Declaration of Independence.

Independence Hall...the Pennsylvania State House, was restored in 1830 and again in 1950. Today, it more closely resembles its original 1776 appearance,
when the Declaration of Independence was adopted.

At Pat's King of Steaks....the birthplace of the Philadelphia ("Philly") cheesesteak
Bella enjoying her chippies, Blair trying out the cheesesteak

After the kids were fed, mom managed to stuff her face with a cheesesteak...

New York City Baby!!!!

We made it to NYC and it is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! I can't wait to go back but next time it will be during the summer months. When it rains in New York City, it pours and Blair and I had a few hours of downpour. Of course this did not stop either of us as this city is just too exciting and nothing slows it down. It took a little while to get the hang of "flagging down a cab" but by the end of the day I was a pro!

Times Square

This was my favorite place! It is so awesome...words cannot describe it as it is a must-see!

Madison Square Garden
" The world's most famous arena"

Central Park

Another one of my favorites....although still a little brown

Ground Zero

At ground zero there is nothing to see....it is fenced off and basically they are rebuilding what will be there in the future. In my opinion, the fencing off felt appropriate...while as a tourist I felt a little guilty peaking through the fence anyway. There is still a crane that holds the american flag in the middle of the construction.

Brooklyn Bridge

Yankee Stadium

My cousin Blair was in heaven the whole time we were here as he is a BIG yankee's fan! I moved up to the top of the cousin list after we made the trip here.
Sorry Rod, you'll have to top this!

Easter day line-up

Yankee Memorial

Fashion Ave
After spending two hours at the Yankee stadium,
Blair owed me some shopping time!

Empire State Building

We didn't end up going to the top as the visibility was zero and the outside deck was closed....but it is still amazing to see from the outside and the bottom.
