Christmas morning

We had the MOST wonderful christmas morning
of them all watching the kids opening up their gifts!
It was such an amazing day....even though we miss all of our
family and friends back home, we are thankful that the 4 of us could be together!
Brax cannot believe that we have opened
up the blockage around the tree.
What risk takers!
Bella opening up her gifts.....

Already trying on the lipstick set

Brax opening up his gifts...he had alot of fun ripping and tearing!

Wow, my first hockey net set!

Santa didn't forget about mom.....

and Dad got some too!

Christmas at The Beckers 2007

Waiting for Santa....

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that ST. NICHOLAS soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

Xmas Decorating

helping mom hang decorations on the tree

look at this one mom, I did it all by myself!

this is a ball...a red ball....I throw them
because mom and dad won't let me by the tree

I'm sure I could hang them if they just gave me a chance!

Weihnachten Markets

There is nothing like a german Christmas Market to bring in the christmas spirit!
Most cities that have them start on or around December 1st
and continue on until christmas day.

There are booths and booths and booths filled with
chocolate covered fruit and candy-covered nuts,
grilled bratwursts and porksteaks,
kaffe and gluhwein, beautiful hand-decorated ornaments.
The market simply lights up at night with christmas lights
beaming from the carousels, ferris wheels
and christmas market itself.

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate!

No one can ever resist rows and rows and rows of chocolate.
You put on 5 lbs just looking at it.
Chocolate covered fruit
"erdbeer" strawberry.....is my favorite!

Traditional Christmas Decorations

candle-lit Ceramic Bavarian houses..
The german smoker is a hand-crafted wooden person
in many different shapes and characters that
smokes a scented insense....a great german keepsake!

Rides, Rides, Rides!

Something for the kids when mom says "No more treats!"
There is only so much sugar one little girl
can consume at each market....
Brax had to come on a ride with Bella and mom too

her absolute favorite: train ride!

Becker Family Christmas Greeting 2007

All is great with the Becker family.
We had a wonderful 2007 and are looking forward to 2008!
We are back in Germany again this season and enjoying it,
we had no idea how accustomed we had become
to the European lifestyle.
We are ALL looking forward to Christmas!

Jason cannot wait for turkey.
Brax cannot wait to pull down the tree.
Jaime and Bella cannot wait to open presents!

Our Miss Bella Boo is an ever adventurous, determined, energetic little being who goes, goes and goes some more! She speaks a mile a minute and is speaking it in two different languages. We enrolled her in a german kindergarten this year and she absolutely loves it! Even though she has some issues with sharing, she is an excellent big sister!

Mr. Big-man Brax is always eating and growing, eating and growing, AND eating and growing! He loves to follow his sister around wherever she goes....even if it is sometimes out the door! He is crawling, walking and thank goodness not running yet! He loves to sing, dance and give kisses and hugs! He is also known to be a charmer, he is quite a flirt!

Jason is happy to be back playing on German ice again.
He's had a minor back problem this season, we're just not too sure if it is chronic or age!
He enjoys being back on the German hockey schedule,
they play every Friday and Sunday.
Roadtrips are only on the weekends.
During the week he is home during the days
and we can spend this time together as a family.

I am always busy with everything! I still enjoy my scrapbooking, and I am doing my very best to keep it up to date! I go to dinner and on shopping trips with friends that I've met through the team, we all have such a great time together!

From our family to yours, have a safe and happy holiday season!
