Sprague Annual Cook-Off

We attended the 6th annual Sprague Cook-Off. What an event it was. Entry fee is a bottle of white wine as that is what the Mrs. drinks. Your wings must be un-cooked upon entry and prepared and served to the judges, who are all women. Your wings are then judged according to taste, presentation & texture. Jason and I went with hawaiian flavored wings. We placed 4th. Pretty good for newbies.

If you come in last place, you are presented the horses ass trophy. Allan was happy to pass this on to someone else this year.

Judges scored in 3 different areas: 1. Taste 2. Presentation 3. Texture. These wings placed 2nd.

Shooters, booze served with wings - great idea! Extra points.

This guy was all about his presentation. By the way, he placed 1st. And not because his wings were good. I'm not sure any of the women can remember what his wings tasted like.
