The Next Chapter - The Okanagan

It's OFFICIAL.  The Becker Family is on the move again.
Jason has accepted an offer to be a Head Coach
at the Okanagan Hockey Academy in Penticton.
Many mixed emotions - excitement for a new hockey adventure,
but sad to leave Prince George.
Some of the most important relationships we have made
have been in Prince George.
Thank you to all of our friends who felt like family,
and to everyone in the community who supported us.

Penticton, BC - Relocated

Welcome Back.
We relocated to Penticton, BC in August.
We have been busy unpacking, unpacking & unpacking.
We bought a place walking distance to the beach,
and have explored our new surroundings with afternoons at the beach
and evening walks with ice cream cones in hand.
Our new house is now a home and we are all settling in.
Penticton is certainly a beautiful place to live.
We get to live where people choose to vacation.
It's now the end of October and we are still in our flip flops
and the kids will trick or treat with NO forecast of snow!
Enjoy the updates.

Moving day was a success.
Now to unpack - Sigh.

Phase 2  of the move - Decorating.
My favorite part of moving into a new home.

Look what I got in the mail!
I'm very blessed and thankful for such wonderful friends.
Near and far.

Back to School, Back to the Gym & the Rink

September 22,2014 - the teacher's strike in B.C. is finally over.
Back to school - Grade 3 & Grade 4

Bella joined a new gymnastics club - Fitkitz.
She is excited to be back in the gym and to make new friends.

On our way to hockey tryouts in SHORTS.
No complaints here - enjoying the extended summer weather
the Okangan has to offer.

Reunited

It was great to see a longtime friend.
We met a "few" years back when our husbands who were then our
boyfriends,  played together in Germany.
We don't get to see each other often,
but I'm glad we have kept in touch.
I'm hoping someday this hockey world places us closer.
