Becker Family Christmas Greeting 2016

Dear Family and Friends,
What a wonderful year it has been for our family.  We are so thankful for all of our blessings we continuously receive!

The kids get bigger and better. These ages are my favourite. Independent, charming, full of happiness, full of personality, full of humour - full of life.  I'm living in the moment and taking it all in. The teenage years are just around the corner......

Bella. She's the perfect dose of me, him, sassiness, love and stubbornness.  She loves everything middle school has to offer, especially the socializing.  I remind her on a daily basis how lucky she is to have such "cool" parents. She smirks.  She could have disagreed and she didn't. HA!  Her new hobby is babysitting - she completed her babysitters course in October.  She is saving her money to buy a cell phone.  Apparently, she is "like the only one of her friends who doesn't have one".  Life is tough for this one.

Braxton. What a charming, confident, little gentleman. Opens the door for his teacher, reminds his mother how pretty she is and still sleeps in his sister's room. His heart is so big and his smile is even BIGGER.  He passes out hugs like they are going out of style.  Life is very simple with him - smile, make friends and play hockey.  This apple didn't fall far from his father's tree.

Jason and I continue to enjoy this wonderful Okanagan life full of hockey, friendships and sunshine. Life continues to be super busy, sometimes I feel like I can't catch my breath - but I wouldn't want it any other way. Everyone is happy and healthy, I couldn't ask for anything more.
Life comes with struggles, it certainly isn't perfect and neither is our family by any means. But through the heart and spirit of our kids, I've learned to see the happiness and positivity anyway.  If I can give my family anything, let it be that. In today's world, I think we can all agree we are in dire NEED of kind, compassionate, happy people.

Smile always. Laugh more. Eat the dessert. Buy the purse.  Skip the gym. Sleep in. Hug your loved ones.

Wishing you joy and cheer this Christmas and always.
May your days be merry, bright and full of love.

Much love from our family to yours,
Jason, Jaime, Bella and Braxton
