Happy Holidaze!
We hope this holiday season finds you happy and healthy, cozy and comfy. It finds us in a bit of a DAZE: over-booked, running in many different directions and occasionally pressed for time. But the tree is up, the house is decorated, the christmas list is complete and we are nothing but ready to socialize our faces off and enjoy everything this holiday season brings. Bring on the rum & eggnog - Cheers!
2018 has been a record year for the Becker Family. We couldn't be more grateful. Thankful. We have had many blessings come our way.
January:
Bella signs her first modelling contract with DejaVu Model Management. Braxton is invited by a California team to play hockey for the World Invitational Minor Hockey Tournament in Beijing, China.
February:
Happy Birthday Bella! On the 12th, we welcome a teenager into the home. Bella turns 13. GASP.
March:
We begin March with surgery. On March 1st, Braxton has his first surgery - Appendicits! We end March with a family ski weekend up at Apex, Happy Easter.
April:
Enroute Beijing, China! Little guy competes with Team USA. We climb the Great Wall of China. Happy Birthday Jaime!
May:
Baseball season begins. Braxton is on the payroll - first job as an umpire. Happy Birthday Jason!
June:
Beckers vacay in Malibu, California - bucket list CHECK. Bella finds her love for track & field. Coach Becker attends NHL draft - former Vees defenseman Jonny Tychonick drafted 48th overall.
July:
Find us at the beach - all day, everyday. Or at a winery. Jaime hosts friends from out of town. Bella is well into her 7th season of horse riding at Lakeview Stables in Kaleden, BC.
August:
Smoke sets in something awful - Smokangan. Becker boys keep busy with golf, Brax is a junior member at the Penticton Golf & Country Club. Bella attends a western horse camp at Red Barn Ranch in Summerland. Seattle trip - back to school shopping, visit with good friends and Toronto Blue Jays ball game.
September:
Back to school. Back to the rink. Back to it all!
October:
Happy Birthday Braxton! He couldn't wait to turn 12 - cell phone age approval. Rightfully earned - all that umping over the summer paid off and bought him his phone.
November:
Hockey tournament after hockey tournament for the little guy. Home game after home game for the big guy. Bella finds her love for volleyball. Baba and Gigi visit.
December:
Christmas decorating. Christmas shopping. Christmas socializing. Penticton Christmas for the Becker Family. Jason attends Team BC Christmas Camp in Penticton for the upcoming Canada Winter Games 2019 in February - Jason is on the coaching staff for Team BC!

I couldn't be more proud of this kid.
When we all arrived in Beijing, his goalie gear didn't.
First game in this tournament, Brax borrowed Team Sweden's gear.
He walked into a rink meeting his USA teammates for the first time
and knew that even without his own gear, the game must go on.
He is a legit team player.
He always wants me to see the glass half full,
the good in all people, and his infamous glove save.
He makes my smile wider and my heart two sizes bigger.
I will forever be your biggest fan, especially in moments like these.
We may have not brought home the trophy, but what an amazing experience!

Team USA was invited to visit the
most prestigious private school in Beijing.
The school consists of about 4000-5000 students.
The school welcomed Team USA to China
and wanted to show them the programs and sports
the school offered.
