In review: 2020, let's never do that again.

January: Cheers to 2020; so we thought.  

February: Face to face with friends. Without masks.

March: GLOBAL PANDEMIC   March: And so it begins, Quarantine.  Still March: Virtual everything.

Spring: The first holiday gathering; virtually.  

Summer: Prep the move to the island. Mask wearing mandatory.

Fall: Restrictions on repeat. Gyms close again. Back at it virtually.  December: Covid Christmas.

Here's to 2021.

Let’s face it …..

Christmas isn't all fa-la-la-la,  it can also be stressful. From shopping for the perfect gifts on the lists, to cooking up a feast for the family, to finding a parking spot at the mall, it’s surprising that people actually look forward to the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Now throw in a year like 2020, it’s next level.   

The point is, we could all use an extra dose of Christmas spirit when you're trying to wrap a million things without getting carpal tunnel syndrome,  working up the courage to check your credit card balance and trying to manage it all during a world pandemic, travel restrictions and all sorts of cancellations.

Christmas is going to look different this year.  Some of us are going to miss the hustle & the bustle & the social obligations and some of us are going to be thankful & relieved from such distractions the holiday season brings.  Some of us will continue to drink way too much wine. #guiltyascharged 

Either way, this Christmas season -  let's all live in the moment. Because moments never get cancelled.
