Travelling with your adult kid hits different.
The sense of your children becoming real people is nothing short of amazing.
Spending this week in Paris with my daughter made me become
aware of how much I enjoy her company; as a friend.
I love being her mom, but I love it even better
being her best friend.
We raised glasses of bordeaux, walked ridiculous amounts of steps daily,
wrecked our feet with glamourous shoes and got lost
together with the help of google maps.
She is shedding light on her interpretation of the world for me,
just as I once did for her. She's polite, she's confident, she's stubborn,
she loves to shop, she's witty, she's put together:
she's me, but an upgraded version.
These are the memories I never want to forget.
And I won't.
I've waited her whole life to adventure off into the world with her,
not just as her mom but as her friend.
This trip meant more to me than I can ever express.

Postcards from Paris 💌🇫🇷
We ate crepes and croissants, croissants and crepes.
Cafe stops were mandatory for cappuccino and cake!
We took on Paris in our own parisian style collaborated with all things
ribbons and bows, polka dots and pearls.
And when it started to drizzle or rain, we opened up the umbrella;
because a rainy day in Paris is a better day than anywhere else!
We shopped the Champs elysees and snacked on cheese platters
and macarons at the Palace of Versailles.
I love the cobbled streets, the french architecture, and of course
the amazing Paris attractions.
Even just walking along the banks of the Seine river is amazing.
Art that can be found in monumental museums or right along the street.
This trip was a definite win.
Enjoying life one cafe at a time.
