July Long Weekend at Wakaw Lake

Every summer we spend July long weekend

at Wakaw Lake with family and friends.

Every year the weather seems to cooperate and we

spend majority of the time outside and down at

my parents beach with the kids or out on the lake

boating, swimming, etc.

Bella loves the lake, sand and sun.

It takes ALOT of bribing to get her out of the water,
good thing Baba always has an extra box of treats!

how deep the middle of the lake really is.

Briske's Cabin - Christopher Lake

Another weekend that has become a trend for the past

3 summers is our "annual weekend at the Briske's".

The actual date changes each year, but the timing does not.

After the Thursday of the UofS Huskie Hockey Alumni golf tourney

we head up to the Briske's cabin for a weekend full of fun!

Girl's Weekend - Christopher Lake

We spent a weekend at our friend's family cabin with

just the girls...ok and Uncle Kirk!

Thank goodness for Uncle Kirk who helped out

with BBQ, campfires and boatrides.

We had a wonderful time.....THX for a great weekend Kel!

It's like riding a bike....sord of.

This is NOT like riding a bike.....because when riding a bike,

I don't fall off going 90 miles an hour

and do 45 sommersaults in a row.

it's not pretty and it doesn't feel very good....but so much FUN!

The weekend ended quite peacefully with the girls going

for the last ride on the lake in the kayak paddled by Brooke.

A good friend of mine was playing in a fastball tournament

and the Becker family went out to watch.

Bella just loved watching the girls play ball.....it was so sweet.
