It's the most wonderful time of the year!

And like the title states....
it really was the most wonderful time of the year!
The expression on Bella's face was everything and more
than I expected.
She was so thrilled to see that the cookies she left out
for Santa were half eaten in the morning and that
because of those cookies, Santa left presents behind....
and ALOT of them!
By far, the best christmas morning yet.

If she could and was allowed to say "holy crap" ,
she would have.
drumroll please, the kitty kat slippers.

and last but not least, a christmas barbie.
Santa is on a roll.

Mr. Brax was not at all intersted in opening presents.
We did manage to catch his interest and got him
to open up a few.
He was thrilled to get a bucket of legos, so thrilled
that we couldn't get him to open the rest of the presents.

He did think grey was his color.

look at the aftermath.

"Dad, look at all of this! I like Santa."

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at the Beckers!
We love to host Christmas Eve dinner...
Jason likes to cook, I love to host, the kids love the company
and the best part.....the kids go to bed at 7 and out come
the games and laughs all around!

cuddles and poses infront of the christmas tree!

my favorite pic of the kids on xmas.
they are sitting so nice, so still, so happy.....
notice the cookies in each hand and I'm sure Kasie is
right behind me jumping around like a fool. THX Kase.

The Fairbarn Family

the ladies

sips of champagne.....

chugs of wine....

Woo-Hoo!
Before the "dancing category" but after the "waterfall"
If you've played this game, you know exactly what I am talking about.

Santa's little helpers.

Christmas Skate

On the 24th we went to the rink in the morning
to take the kids for a skate and to visit
with friends who stayed in and around the Rosenheim
area for xmas.

Bella patiently waiting to go on the ice.....
skating with mom

Kasie taking Bella for a "real" skate.

Bella wanted to try all by herself.
She did REALLY good, we were so proud of her.

And of course, Mr. Man stomped himself onto the ice
and did what he knows best.

He had a friend who was just as eager to shoot the puck around.

Brax and Magnus enjoying the ice time...even if without skates.

having a snack in the dressing room with Ryan and Kasie.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

What a great little helper, she really enjoyed helping out!

I think the expression on his face says it all,
he cannot believe we trust him near the tree.
And a few minutes after, he ripped that ball off of the
tree and threw it across the room.
Teamwork!

Good luck untangling the lights.

She thought the tinsel should be worn as hair.

Bella soon got the idea of what it was meant for.

All done!
Ok, I will admit that during naptime I had
to "retouch" a few things....
Don't judge, it's a heriditary thing.
If you ever walk into my mom's house at xmas time
you will notice that EVERY decoration matches
the furniture, rugs, drapes and plants!

She is so proud of her "tree with lights".

Do you smell the gingerbread?

This was fun.
Although I hate baking of any sort, making the
gingerbread house with the fam was something else.
Jason made the "snow", Brax supervised while
chomping down waffles and watching his xmas einstein DVD,
Bella waited to see if their would be extra jube-jubes left over
and I built the house.
Good times had by all!
She only posed for the picture because it involved a red jube-jube.

ChristKindl Markets - Rosenheim

It's that time of year again....xmas season!
And in germany, xmas markets bring on the xmas spirit.
Rosenheim has a beautiful xmas market which
is always packed full with families and friends.

Happy girl!
Bella is enjoying her deep-fried doughnut.
YUM, YUM, YUM.

We needed this stroller for our xmas photo.

Bella waited 20 minutes to ride in the very front.
A little boy had 5 tokens and just kept taking his turn
and PATIENT little Bella waited.
Bella thought it was worth it....I judged his mother.

Kasie and I.

Robin, Ryan, Max, Matthias, Ron, Niko, Jason
Some of the guys from the team.

A few of us ladies went back for another night.
I finally found a hot drink I can enjoy......punsch mit alcohal.
Glühwein is hot red wine.
I don't drink red wine, nevermind HOT red wine.

ChristKindl Markets - Prien/Chiemsee

This Christmas Market is surrounded by the Bavarian Alps
and located on an island on Lake Chiemsee.
The Island of Frauenchiemsee...
(the island on which the market takes place)
looks onto the Herrenchiemsee Island, which is home to the famous
"Herrenchiemsee Castle", built by King Ludwig II.

Taking the ferry to the islands.

beautiful view of the Bavarian Alps.

it was a beautiful day
