I couldn't be more proud of this kid.

When we all arrived in Beijing, his goalie gear didn't.

First game in this tournament, Brax borrowed Team Sweden's gear.

He walked into a rink meeting his USA teammates for the first time

and knew that even without his own gear, the game must go on.

He is a legit team player.

He always wants me to see the glass half full,

the good in all people, and his infamous glove save.

He makes my smile wider and my heart two sizes bigger.

I will forever be your biggest fan, especially in moments like these.

We may have not brought home the trophy, but what an amazing experience!

Trophies gather dust, memories last forever.

Team USA was invited to visit the 

most prestigious private school in Beijing.

The school consists of about 4000-5000 students.

The school welcomed Team USA to China

and wanted to show them the programs and sports

the school offered.

Humboldt Strong

Heaven's Hockey rink has a special line-up.

To the families, billets, friends, organization and 

communities of Humboldt:

Sending our heartfelt condolences.

We can't even begin to imagine the devastation.

The hockey world is so big, yet so small.

We are one big family.

You will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.

This horrific tragedy hit home to so many,

especially our hockey family.

It was a very hard weekend for us, 

especially because we knew some of the families affected.

Our hearts were heavy, our tears were non-stop and 

our grief was stricken.

The outpour around the world really opened my eyes and my heart.

"I do believe that the world ain't half as bad as it looks,

I do believe most people are good." 

Don't take life for granted. 

Say I love you, more than you did before.

Hug your family and friends, always.  Hugs never go out of style.

Open your heart.  

Be thankful and grateful for life.
